Indoors--Outside

Matthew has been really interested in grilling for the past two summers or so. Thinking of that, we have been talking a lot about hosting barbecues for friends at our new house this summer. I was shopping around online just to see how much outdoor furniture costs and was astonished to see the amazing furniture sets available these days. The colors, fabrics, and pillows I saw made it seem like the patio is just another room inside a house--and I love it! These "rooms" are wonderful & finally give the warmth and comfort to the outside that I have been seeking.

What do you think of this new indoors-outside trend? Also, please let me know if you've seen any budget-friendly outdoor furniture options available in this area.

    I love this type of stuff! Anything that makes it so I'm able to spend more time outside is great in my book. Nothing beats dinner on a shaded patio in the summer.

    can't wait for a summer of bbq's! i love bringing the inside out and the outside in. the best place i've found for affordable outdoor furniture is consignment shops and craigslist, a lot of indoor pieces can be re-furbished for outdoor use :) but i can't wait for the day when we can afford a beautiful set from pottery barn!

    I love the colorful sets! But they are just crazy expensive, so I went for a $119.99 boring 6 piece set (4 basic chairs, table, umbrella) from Shopko. My dreams of having a beautiful patio set will have to wait until I am loaded!
